MOVE & REST retreat
Cornwall | 18th - 21st June 2027
A long weekend immersed in nature, with time to move, sense, rest & nourish your whole self.
One long weekend in a dreamy location for an opportunity to embody your movement practice through a varied offering of fascia-focused, mat-based movement classes. In the classes you’ll play with dynamic sequences, practice self massage work and explore deeply restorative movements and poses.
All in the magical setting of Cabilla in Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, UK (direct trains from London to Bodmin Parkway Station and a short 15mins taxi from there). Take a wander in the temperate rainforest, be in awe of the wildlife or go wild bathing to refresh after the sauna. This is your weekend and having a chat or a nap are equally celebrated.
MOVE & REST retreat
Cornwall | 18th - 21st June 2027
You’ll stay in a Koyt for that idyllic back to nature feeling with no compromise on comfort. These allow for both privacy and convenience as they’re set back slightly from the main barn where you’ll find our stunning studio, communal living areas and the modern monsoon showers with underfloor heating. I’ve honestly never seen a retreat venue the treads that fine line of luxury & simplicity quite like Cabilla does.
We’re also in for a real treat with meals prepared by Kate, The Mindful Chefette, who creates a nourishing culinary experience to captivate all the senses. Her ethos is aligned with the way I encourage you to notice your internal senses and she will be with us for the weekend, freshly preparing nutritious yet indulgent food to compliment the natural arc of the retreat.
All of this, with plenty of space left to practice the art of non-doing.
This retreat is a space to explore being and doing through the lens of noticing. It’s an invitation to feel more you.

retreat feedback
-
I’ve spent the weeks since I came home from Kath’s Move and Rest retreat telling everyone how life-changingly wonderful it was.

The movement classes were unlike anything I’ve done before and were surprisingly challenging whilst being very gentle and slow.

It's pretty hard to express in a few sentences just how special Kath's retreat was.
